Virat Kohli returns to full practice – The good news was Virat Kohli’s return to training. The Indian Test skipper was ruled out of the 2nd Test with an upper back spasm. On Sunday, he hit the nets taking on Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, bringing up his Kohli-esque cover drives.

“Virat Kohli should be fine from all accounts. He has had the opportunity to run around a little bit, he has had the opportunity to test it a little bit. Hopefully, with a couple of net sessions in Cape Town, he should be good to go,” Rahul Dravid said at the end of 2nd Test.
No Mohammed Siraj in practice – However, Mohammed Siraj was nowhere to be seen in practice. Ishant Sharma was in full action on Sunday. If Mohammed Siraj is ruled out, the competition for the spot will be between Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav.
With Ishant Sharma out of form, Umesh Yadav is expected to take Siraj’s place. But the two practice sessions will decide who gets in if Siraj is ruled out from the decider.
Dean Elgar played a captain’s knock scoring an unbeaten 96 to take the hosts to a 7-wicket win levelling the 3-match series 1-1 against India.
