“People are too scared to do that”: Disguised Toast urges streamers to stop following trends in fear of Twitch strikes- Popular Twitch streamer Disguised Toast has been sharing his opinions on various topics regarding the platform on multiple occasions. Recently, he described how streamers are clinging on to much safer content to avoid any bans and mentioned many streamers who watch only MasterChef, as an example.

Disguised Toast also pointed out that this fear of taking risks may well be the reason why the social media platform YouTube is a better platform for the growth of young content creators. He has been vocal about his views since his return on Twitch in November 2021.

According to Toast majority of the new and fresh faces on Twitch like to go with the trend and thereby are scared to broadcast anything outside of the existing norm due to the potential threat of violation of guidelines, which may lead to suspension of their respective channel.

Well, he takes a dig at the current scenario by referring to the famous Twitch streamers like xQc and HasanAbi who broadcast their watch-throughs of the cooking show MasterChef, which is trending in the community these days.

Here’s what Disguised Toast said,Everyone starts watching MasterChef, ‘But guys why aren’t you watching anything else?’, Well, I don’t want to take that risk.” He then went on to compare other streamers’ unwillingness to take risks to the glass stepping challenge from Squid Game.

“You see one guy just to a glass pane, and he doesn’t fall to his death, and everyone jumps on it.” He continued, “People are too scared to do that, and they don’t want to risk their livelihood. So here I come with the Naruto glass pane, ‘Oh, we’re jumping on Naruto glass panes? F**k it! I’m gonna go.’ It’s only been a week, and it hasn’t broke yet. Now what?”

Toast was referring to his recent stream where he had watched full episodes of Naruto without facing any strikes to date for the same. Overall, he wants to bring this issue to light so that fellow streamers realize the importance of creative freedom and come up with unique ideas and content.
