HP beat SVCS Highlights: Rishi Dhawan’s one-man show helps Himachal reach finals for first time in Vijay Hazare history

Rishi Dhawan’s well-paced 84* and Akash Vasisht’s quickfire 45 off 29 helped Himachal post a decent total on the board against Services in the first semifinal.

Himachal faced a lot of trouble after being put in to bat first by Services in the Vijay Hazare semifinals. The Rishi Dhawan-led side lost four wickets by the end of half of the overs already and were finding it hard to score runs. However, Prashant Chopra came again to Himachal’s rescue as he scored a half-century once again. Rishi Dhawan and Akash Vasisht made up for the slow scoring rate at the fag end and helped Himachal post 281/6.
