Pokimane is forced to stop watching Food Wars due to the nudity scenes in it
In one of her past livestreams, Pokimane decided to watch anime with her viewers and asked for recommendations. She was suggested to watch Food Wars by her viewers, a food cooking anime of the slice-of-life genre. While she agreed to the choice, Pokimane did not realize that she would have to stop the anime so quickly.
While Food Wars is known for its extravagant depiction of meal preparations and dishes, another thing that fans find hilarious is the overexaggerated food testing scenes. In most of these scenes, characters who taste the dishes are depicted as blown away by the orgasmic taste and are shown to be enjoying the food in nude form while explaining its texture and taste.
Pokimane also witnessed this scene in the anime video and had to quickly close it while screaming, “Sorry! Oh my god! I am so sorry”.
Pokimane learns why it is not a good idea to watch anime in livestream
There are various anime where sexual innuendos and nudity scenes are shown for a comedic effect or just plain fanservice. Thus, watching these anime on livestream can attract bans from Twitch as their Terms of Service is quite clear about streamers not showing any type of nudity on-stream.
While her fans had a nice laugh over her mistake, Pokimane will now be more cautious of watching anime on stream and what she should put up on her screen in general.
