It has been a while since Amazon has introduced its official streaming channels on Twitch. These also Amazon channels get a lot of viewership as they stream popular sports like NFL’s Thursday Night Football. Still, this ban shows that Twitch does not entertain anyone disregarding and breaking their Terms of Service, even if it is a channel that is run by its parent company.

Twitch banned Spanish Amazon Prime Video
The ban on the Spanish Amazon Prime Video channel “PrimeVideoES” came on 19th December. It was during the streaming of the “Estos en un late” show when one of the members of the broadcast team broke one rule from the Terms of Service of Twitch.
The show was going to end their livestream but Henar Alvarez, one of the hosts for the show, took a drastic step to hasten the end. She was found speaking that “we are going for the ban. Let’s go they will ban us” while lifting up her skirt and flashing. The producers decided to prevent this from happening by cutting off the live stream at this point. They showed the ending titles for the stream and after a while, switched live again to give their viewers a proper ending. Unfortunately, Henar Alvarez continued her previous antics on live stream, and this time, the producers ended the stream with a “Thank You for Watching” title.
This ban proves that Twitch has become quite serious when it comes to violations of their Terms of Service and is not afraid to strike the ban hammer on any channel when it breaks them.
