Karnataka looked in trouble right from the start in the game. Firstly, they conceded over 7 runs per over while bowling and then succumbed to the scoreboard pressure while chasing. Devdutt Padikkal’s batting woes continued as he departed for a duck while Manish Pandey failed to impress either. TN’s Medium-pacer R Silambarasan picked up four wickets to hasten the slide.

Earlier, After being put in to bat first, Tamil Nadu put a mammoth total, 354/8, on the board courtesy of N Jagadeesan’s ton and Shahrukh Khan’s quickfire half-century. Dinesh Karthik (44), R Sai Kishore (61), and B Indrajith (31) also chipped in with crucial runs to help TN post a big total.
