Previously it was scheduled that the results for the in-game qualifiers of iQOO Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS 2021) will be announced on December 14th. However, after 24 hours, not one participating team has received the mail regarding the qualifying to the next round. Teams who ended up performing pretty good during the qualifiers became worried as teams who don’t get the mail are considered not eligible to participate in the next round. But according to our sources, players need not worry as the delay has been from the side of the BGMI officials. It has been reported that the delay is indeed from the official’s side and the results have been delayed due to the extension of the previous schedule. Previously, the in-game qualifiers were supposed to be concluded on December 8th. But later, Krafton extended it to December 9th. This may be the reason while the officials are taking some extra bit of time to arrange things properly and release the correct list of teams.

About BGIS 2021 Online Qualifiers
Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2021 is the first-ever esports event of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The In-game qualifiers of the event are already over. Top 1024 teams from the In-game qualifiers will join the Online qualifiers. BGIS 2021 In-game qualifiers results will be announced later today.
ONLINE QUALIFIERS FORMAT AND SCHEDULE:
Round 1: 16th-19th December
The top 1024 squads qualifying from Online Qualifiers will be seeded into 64 groups. Each group will have to play 2 matches each on the specified dates. The top 8 teams from each group will further qualify for the Round 2 of online qualifiers.
Round 2: 21st – 24th December 2021
The top 512 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 1 will be seeded into 32 groups. Each group will have to play 2 matches each on the specified dates. The top 7 teams from each group will proceed to online qualifiers Round 3.
Round 3: 27th – 30th December
Top 224 teams from Online Qualifiers Round 3 along with 32 invited teams will be seeded into 16 groups. Each group will have to play 3 matches each on the specified dates following which the top 4 teams will qualify for Quarter Finals.
