Right from the first whistle, Monaco made their presence known and gave the league leaders an early scare after an attempt hit off Gianluigi Donnarumma’s post only two minutes in.
100 – Kylian Mbappé has now scored 100 Ligue 1 goals for Paris. He is the youngest player to score 100 goals for a single team in the top-flight (22 years and 357 days) since Opta began recording this data (1950/51). Astonishing. #PSGASM pic.twitter.com/kxtnLpPCO3

But they would eventually be haunted by a very familiar face as Kylian Mbappé scored from the penalty spot and later finished off a pass from Lionel Messi for 2-0.
The early double brought Mbappé’s Ligue 1 goal tally for PSG to an astonishing 100 despite only being 22 years old. Coming out after the break, the visitors made multiple substitutions to try and claw themselves back into the game.
Yet despite the fresh legs, PSG continued to control most of the match and shut down any opportunities though they also couldn’t find a way through themselves.
In the end, the first-half performance was enough to see PSG go 13 points clear at the top of the table while Monaco sit eighth. It also took him just 123 games to achieve the feat and only Zlatan Ibrahimović and Edinson Cavani have more for the club.
