India tour of South Africa: Indian stars Rohit Sharma, Mohammed Shami toil hard as they look to make history against Proteas
Before travelling to South Africa and entering the bio-bubble, Team India stars have been training hard to be in shape and at the very best in what will be a difficult three Tests against the Proteas. India have made some huge calls recently, including dropping Ajinkya Rahane as vice-captain for the tour, elevating Rohit Sharma after his continued good form over the past couple of years.
Rohit Sharma was seen practising in the nets as he tried to get used to the bounce and pace on offer. Sharma was seen facing throwdown experts, both right and left-handed, trying to prepare for the test of South African pacers, with the hosts boasting of the likes of Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi in their attack.

Mohammed Shami meanwhile was seen at NCA, as he tried to get himself into the rhythm for the upcoming tour. Shami was in fine form in England and has formed a potent partnership with Jasprit Bumrah, especially in Tests overseas. The Indian pacer, who was rested for the home series against New Zealand, looked in good rhythm, and seemed happy with his efforts, and the conditions on offer in South Africa should aid his skills.
