WWE Raw Results:

Big E vs. Kevin Owens- Time for the main event with stakes as high as they could be. If Kevin Owens wins tonight, he will be instilled in the WWE Championship match at WWE Day 1 making it a triple-threat.

Before the match could have started, Seth Rollins also came out and joined the commentary team to take a look at the proceedings from close.

As the bell rang, both men launched themselves on each other. There was a rage between the two men as they were going after each other. Big E took Owens outside the ring and bashed him face-first into the barricade, followed by a face-first on the announce table.

He then sent Owens inside the ring, but Owens snapped his left knee and started working on it for good. He was stomping on the left knee and dropped himself on Big E’s leg. The WWE Champion was feeling the heat and was trying desperately to get out of Kevin’s attacks.

Big E got some opening and sent Owens right near the announce table where Rollins walked near Owens and was rooting for Big E by chanting ‘Go Big E Go!’ This made Owens furious and he slapped Rollins on his face. Owens then moved into the ring and Rollins followed him but was stopped on the apron by the referee.

Big E sneaked a chance and launched his attacks on Owens. He sent Owens on the apron and splashed on him chest-first on the apron. Bog E then took Owens outside and removed the first stair from the set of steel stairs, but his plan backfired as Owens placed a DDT on the WWE Champ right on the exposed steel stair. We now move into commercials.

After the commercial, both men were in the ring and Owens had his arm locked all over the face of Big E. Owens then tried running through Big E, but the champ floored him with a vicious clothesline. After a while, we saw Kevin hoisting Big E on the top turnbuckle and slamming him on the mat with a superplex.

Kevin once again wrapped his hands around Big E’s face, but the WWE Champ got out of the lock and even things up with two over the head belly-t-belly followed by a side belly-to-belly slam. Big E was feeling the adrenaline rush and tried going for the running splash but Owens put his knees up on time and countered the move perfectly.

The two men were not willing to give up even after going for simultaneous moves but they were going back & forth with their offense. In the closing moments of the match, Owens went outside to snap Seth Rollins who was consistently talking trash about him. Owens attacked Rollins for good and then turned his focus on Big E inside the ring. Owens tried going for a stunner, but Big E countered it, he then hit a superkick on the WWE Champ, and the champ returned with a vicious clothesline to floor Owens.

Once Owens was floored, Seth entered the scene and attacked Owens viciously forcing the referee to call the bell. The match got disqualified as Rollins Curb Stomped Big E too. Owens got the win via DQ leaving Rollins irate in the ring.

WWE Raw Results and Highlights: Kevin Owens defeated Big E via DQ.

Backstage- Big E was asked if he has added pressure going into his match against Kevin Owens tonight. He replied with a straight ‘No.’ He further added, that maybe there could be a threat to his championship title in a triple-threat match at WWE Day 1, but he plans to kick off 2022 with a bang and for that, he will ensure that Kevin Owens isn’t winning tonight so that he could face Seth Rollins one-on-one man-to-man at WWE Day 1.

Seeing Rhea in the ring, Carmella rushed to her corner and tagged Queen Zelina, who then tagged in Becky followed by Doudrop, and then Tamina. All of a sudden, Rhea found herself in the middle of the five ladies all alone.

Rhea tried to fight but the number’s game got the better of her. Finally, all the ladies went to their corner and Rhea & Tamina were the only ones remaining and fighting each other. Tamina floored Rhea with a running takedown, but Rhea returned the favor by a vicious clothesline. Team Liv followed the suit and simultaneous tags saw Tamina surrounded by all the members of Team Liv. Bianca hoisted Tamina for a Kiss of Death, but Becky’s team members pulled her down and take her out of the ring to nullify Teak Liv’s plans. We now head to commercials.

After the commercials, Nikki and Doudrop were the legal ones in the ring and Doudrop was working pretty well on Nikki. After hitting some blows, Doudrop tagged in Becky, who launched herself with a leg drop but Nikki moved out of harm’s way and crawled towards her corner for a tag but couldn’t make it as Lynch tagged Carmella who caught Nikki mid-way.

Nikki found some separation and finally tagged Rhea. Rhea stunned Carmella with a clothesline and went after her masked face. We then saw all the ladies from either side getting their chance for simultaneous attacks on each other with Becky flooring Liv with a back-first slam being the last.

Dana Brooke sent Becky outside the ring, and Nikki launched herself with a crossbody on the Raw Women’s Champion from the apron.

Doudrop then snapped Nikki but got snapped by Dana Brooke and Rhea Ripley. Dana was going for a dive on the outside from the top turnbuckle, but Carmella and Queen Zelina pushed her down on the outside on her own teammates. Meanwhile, in the ring, Liv Morgan took care of both Carmella and Queen Zelina and then ended up Tamina with her finisher despite taking a superkick from the latter.

Rey’s quickness proved too much for Shelton Benjamin as he was tolled by Rey. Cedric Alexander also felt the heat and once he got a tag he was also on the receiving end. Rey then set Shelton Benjamin on the middle rope for a 619, tagged his son in who set Cedric in the same middle rope and the father-son duo hit a double 619 on both the members of The Hurt Business. Dominik then went on the top turnbuckle and launched himself with a frig splash on Alexander to pin him.

The Miz came out with his wife Maryse and the two walked into the ring. The Miz then started off blaming Edge that every time he comes, whether he gets injured or takes time off, he always gets the big return, the media release, and the pyrotechnics, but he doesn’t get all this.

Edge and The Miz got involved in a dirty war of words and both had their ups and downs on the mic. Edge particularly talked about the small window he has fought really hard to get back. He said that he knows he doesn’t have much time left in his pro-wrestling career, but whatever time he has got, he has fought for it and earned it.

As soon as Randy entered the scene he was all over the Dirty Dawgs. He first hit a sucker punch to Roode to send him outside the ring and followed it up by a power slam on Dolph Ziggler. Randy was going for his vicious middle-rope DDT on Ziggler, but Roode pulled Ziggler down. Randy followed him but only to get rocked with a vicious superkick from Ziggler. Becky then told Liv that she has already signed the contract and now Liv should do the same. Before Liv could have signed the contract, Becky again started blabbering and talking trash about the WWE Universe and even said that Liv bodied her. Liv lost her patience now and told Becky to shut up.

Liv first started off by saying that, “You’re the reason why your friend is gone just like the reason why your big, fat greedy contract is the reason why MY friends are gone. How does it feel knowing you become everything you despised?”

Liv told Becky that she wants to show her footage from Survivor Series when she was crying after her match. Seth Rollins kicks off the show: Rollins kicked off the show by saying after what happened last week you all must be thinking I would be in a bad mood. But he said that I am not, and the reason behind this is that he would be challenging Big E for the WWE Championship at WWE Day 1 PPV on January 1, 2022.

Rollins seemed really happy in the ring after the announcement and drooling with the same, however, he was cut short by Finn Balor.
