In his pre-match interview at the stadium, United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed: “Mason has got COVID unfortunately. He’s tested positive, so we’ll wait for him to get back.”
Greenwood’s fellow England internationals Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford are both in Solskjaer’s line-up, joining Portuguese pair Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo in the front four.

Kevin De Bruyne and Eddie Howe were the latest to test positive for COVID-19 this week. Eddie Howe who was supposed to be in charge of his first game St. James’ Park will have to be isolated after contracting the virus.
