Yuvraj Singh is a huge fan of Manchester United and his picture was re-posted by Premier League India. He had praised Lingard’s goal when Red Devils defeated West Ham 2-1 in September.
“What an unbelievable game ! It’s amazing how sport teaches us how to bounce back Jesse Lingard few nights ago was a villain and today he’s a hero against his previous team , and then David de Gea saves the day. Disappointed but relieved face. FYI what about the penalty on our side ref?” Yuvraj had tweeted.
Lingard has featured in just 8 matches this season with a couple of goals. He has been dropped from England’s squad for FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Last year, Yuvraj Singh had live chat on Facebook with Man Utd star Marcus Rashford. He had revealed that he iss a fan of the Old Trafford based club for the last two decades. He had named newly bought megastar Cristiano Ronaldo as his favourite along with Ryan Giggs and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
Man Utd are currently placed sixth in the premier league, nine points behind leaders Chelsea after 11 matches. They will next play Watford at Vicarage Road on November 20.
