eFootball: Konami’s eFootball rated as the worst game in 2021

eFootball worst game in 2021: After Konami unveiled that they are completely restructuring their well-renowned Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) series and also renaming the game to eFootball, all the gaming community was eagerly waiting for Konami’s new project and was seen as a major competitor of EA’s FIFA. Though eFootball is a free-to-play game and Konami claims that they have used modern Xsens suits to simulate realistic gameplay, the original outcome didn’t quite meet anyone’s expectations and became one of the worst-rated games. After eFootball released officially, it faced huge criticism due to its poor graphics iteration and gameplay filled with bugs. eFootball is not only the worst-rated game in Steam by far but it also sits at the bottom of the Megacritic’s 2021 game list.

In the winter, Konami plans to organize an eSports Tournament and will also introduce cross-platform matches and Mobile controller support for Android and iOS players. Now as eFootball has received such negative feedback from the gaming community, Konami have started working on a major update to fix all the bugs and glitches from the game. Konami revealed that the major update will be released on the Spring of 2022. It is still a concern of how much of an improvement Konami does to eFootball through this update.
