The incident took place in the fifth over when felt some issue in his left leg. However, it quickly got worse and he was unable to stand and England physio started running out to the middle. A couple of minutes later Roy had to be carried off the field as he was barely able to walk.

As per the latest, Roy’s injury will be assessed on Sunday. England skipper Eoin Morgan said that the England opener will be assessed tomorrow.
“Probably Jason will be assessed tomorrow. We do have a lot of depth, we’ve built a good white-ball group over the last few years, so really excited. Yes, really happy, we’ve topped the group and that’s never easy,” Eoin Morgan said after the match.
