WWE News: Triple H’s Retiring? The 14-time World Champion and WWE head of Operations Triple H is almost done with recovering after suffering a cardiac arrest. He has been one of the most prominent in-ring performers of all time, but it seems like his in-ring career is heading towards a perpetual end.
Triple H’s Retiring? Triple H’s last match took place in 2019 when he took on Randy Orton at WWE Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia. He has been a temporary in-ring performer for quite some years now, but his recent health issues might force him to officially retire from competing in the ring.
WWE News: Triple H is yet to return to work following his heart surgery
The Game suffered a cardiac arrest in September and underwent surgery. However, following his heart surgery, he has not returned to work reported by Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Despite Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels running NXT 2.0, Triple H remains a crucial member of the management. Here’s what Meltzer has revealed,
”I wouldn’t expect HHH to ever wrestle again, although it is possible he may do one retirement match if he feels the need to leave on his own terms and doctors will clear him, but that’s not likely to be for a long time, and he hasn’t even returned to behind-the-scenes work yet.”
WWE News: Triple H needs to have a retirement match
With the number of accolades the former 14-time World Champion has achieved in his legendary career, a retirement match would perhaps be the best way to hang his wrestling boots. A legendary career should not end in a pale manner.
WWE News: Triple H’s Retiring? That being said, who could he face in his retirement match? A young budding superstar or a legend of his stature? Well, I leave you guys brimming over this, but a retirement match is something The Game richly deserves.
