WWE Smackdown Results: Best & Worst of tonight’s Smackdown- The Bloodline was back in business again with the return of Roman Reigns on this edition of Friday Night Smackdown. Being the flagship show of WWE for quite some months now, tonight’s Smackdown was a sort of hit and miss.

The opening segment laid the foundation for the main event that saw The Bloodline assaulting New Day for good. In this post, we have compiled a list of the best & worst of tonight’s show. So without any further ado, let us have a look.

WWE Smackdown Results: Roman Reigns return (BEST)

The top champion should appear on almost every edition of a show, and that’s what the Universal Champion Roman Reigns did by appearing tonight on what he calls his show. Roman was the one to kick off the show along with The Usos and Paul Heyman.

He started off by saying that he deserved a vacation after smashing Brock Lesnar and that is why he was not present last week. Roman’s presence was one of the highlights of the show for sure.

WWE Smackdown Results: The “Happy Talk” show (WORST)

The “Happy Talk” is definitely one of the most awful talk show segments on Smackdown in recent weeks. Yet another episode of Happy Talk got premiered tonight that featured The Viking Raiders as special guests.

Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss started off by cracking some lame jokes, jokes on which only they were laughing. The show was meaningless, and just to set for the sake of having a random match between the two teams, there was no need for having a talk show.

WWE Smackdown Results: Drew McIntyre continues to be the Smackdown Warrior (BEST)

The Scottish Warrior and now the Smackdown Warrior Drew McIntyre is a man on a mission, and he has been proving this week after week. Ever since his arrival on the Blue brand, Drew has been throwing down open challenges, and this week was no different.

Drew’s open challenge this week was accepted by the high-flying Ricochet, who had a great match with the former WWE Champion but eventually got thumped. It was a quality match, and yet another win for Drew has now escalated him one step closer to having a date with Roman Reigns.

WWE Smackdown Results: Naomi getting screwed week after week (WORST)

The Naomi-Sonya Deville saga, which promised to be exciting moving forward, has suddenly taken the lame route. The storyline between the two ladies has been the same week after week, Sonya screwing Naomi and the latter couldn’t do anything about it.- This needs to stop before the feud becomes too predictable and even lamer.

WWE Smackdown Results: The Bloodline assaulted King Woods and Sir Kofi to possibly send a message to Big E

The curtains rolled down for the show with Roman Reigns and The Usos brutalizing Sir Kofi and King Woods. Woods defeated Jimmy Uso in the main event of the night, and as per the condition he had to bend his knee before the King.

Just when Jimmy was bending down on one knee, Roman Reigns came out of nowhere and hit a Superman punch on King Woods. The Bloodline then broke out on both Woods and Kofi with a 3 on 2 assault.

This assault is perhaps timed perfectly, especially with Survivor Series around the corner. The WWE Champion Big E and Universal Champion Roman Reigns are expected to collide at Survivor Series, and this attack is perhaps the apt way to start a buildup between the two champions.
