Opting to bowl first, Maharashtra didn’t have a good start as Tamil Nadu openers Narayana Jagadeeshan and Hari Nishanth shared a 51-run opening partnership. Once Nishanth fell, Jagadeeshan continued with Sai Sudharsan. With a quickfire 35 off 19, Sai Sudharsan took the game away. He was followed by skipper Vijay Shankar who hammered a 20-ball 40 as Tamil Nadu posted 167/4.
