Activision claims Call of Duty: Activision previously revealed the arrival of a brand new Call of Duty Vangaurd later this year. The game will be available on the Xbox, PC and PlayStation.A listing from a PlayStation Store revealed the first glimpses of the next update of the CoD franchise. Call of Duty Vanguard is set to release next week and as per the listing which was spotted by CharlieIntel, the upcoming Call of Duty Vangaurd will be revealed within an event held in Call of Duty: Warzone. Recently, a tweet from Activision revealed that Call of Duty Vangaurd won’t take huge hard drive spaces as before.

It looks like Activision has finally listened to the complaints from the gaming community regarding the steadily increasing install size space of the CoD titles including both Modern Warfare and Black Ops series. A lot of PlayStation users were unable to enjoy the popular CoD titles due to their enormous install sizes. Developers have been digging into the problem lately and came up with the new on-demand texture streaming tech which will help Activision to reduce the install size of Call of Duty Vangaurd by almost 30%-50% on next-gen consoles and hard-drives.

It is also reported that Call of Duty Vangaurd wont sensor Swastikas but players will get an option to turn them off. Sledgehammer Co-founder, Michael Condrey told forbes, ” We’ve wrestled with the topic of Nazi iconography, including the swastika, throughout the course of development. There are, of course, cultural boundaries that we felt we needed to respect and we also wanted to be authentic in our approach to game design. It’s a fine balance of not glorifying the symbolism”.
