The previous update of Pubg Battlegrounds was 14.1 which came on October 6 on the PC and October 14 on the consoles. So, we can expect the next update 14.2 coming at the end of November 1st Week. They are all set to add weapons like the M79 Smoke Grenade Launcher and Taego-exclusive Mortar! in the next update. They are also bringing new features like DBNO Swimming which will help players to be under the water for more.

Taego-exclusive Mortar!: Once looted, it takes up a primary slot. The weapon can only be deployed on flat surfaces. The weapon can be accessed on Normal Match, Custom Match, Custom Match Sandbox Mode, Not included in Ranked Season 14. It will be able to shoot between 121m to 700m in distance.
M79 Smoke Grenade Launcher: Our new M79 is a smoke grenade launcher that was created to provide quick smoke cover on longer ranges. Blind your enemies, cover your downed teammate or make a grand escape from a losing battle!. Basically, it takes the pistol slot.
