Though AT&T haven’t made any kind of revelation on their website regarding the Stadia technology, in an interview with IGN both Google and AT&T revealed that the offering by AT&T is based on the Stadia architecture which is outside of the Stadia platform and services. The spokesperson from AT&T said, “This is being powered by the Stadia technology. For this demo AT&T created a front-end experience to enable gamers to play Batman: Arkham Knight directly from their own website and the game is playable on virtually any computer or laptop.”

The Batman: Arkham Knight offered for streaming by AT&T is only available for users for a limited amount of time and the game can be streamed at a maximum of Full HD (1080p) resolution from Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome web browsers. The GM of Stadia, Phi Harrison wrote, “We see an important opportunity to work with partners seeking a gaming solution all built on Stadia’s advanced technical infrastructure and platform tools. We believe this is the best path to building Stadia into a long-term, sustainable business that helps grow the industry.” It is also speculated that Google has been spending large amounts of money in order to secure AAA-titles of third-party games for their streaming service.
