As per the Mirror, Mohammed Salah’s agent is negotiating a new deal for the Egyptian international, which will see him receive more than twice his current salary. He recently became the quickest player to score 100 goals in Liverpool’s history, and now believes he is deserving of a hefty pay rise. Salah is currently on a £200,000-a-week contract that runs until the summer of 2023, and Issa is negotiating for a new deal that will see him become the highest-paid player in the Premier League, with terms worth £500k-per-week to be discussed.

Mohammed Salah contract extension – Sportsmail previously reported that Liverpool want to extend Mohammed Salah’s contract by a further two years until 2025 in a record-breaking deal for the Merseyside club. The reported deal means Salah would hold that contract until he is 33 years of age and would extend his Anfield career to eight years. Should the Egyptian King pen a new deal, he would join fellow teammates Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker and Andy Roberston in signing new deals with the club.
