WWE Crown Jewel: Goldberg opens up on his knee injury- WWE Hall of Famer is all set to collide with the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley in what would be a very personal match. After what Lashley did to his son Gage at Summerslam, Goldberg was eager to beat the hell out of the All-Mighty, and he is all set to get his opportunity to face the former WWE Champion this Thursday in a no holds barred match.
Ahead of his much talked about match at Crown Jewel, Goldberg appeared in the CarCast Podcast and gave an update on the knee injury, which he sustained at the Summerslam PPV. Here’s what Goldberg said,

“Knee’s much better. Hopefully, it’ll be — I won’t be completely healed by then [Crown Jewel], but it’ll be, suffice to say, in good enough shape to kick Bobby [Lashley’s] ass. Let’s just say that.” [H/T Post Wrestling.
WWE Crown Jewel 2021: Bobby Lashley put Gage through a Hurt Lock at Summerslam
The then WWE Champion Bobby Lashley put his title on the line against the WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg at Summerslam in August earlier this year. Goldberg worked brilliantly throughout the bout, unlike his previous matches since 2018, where he used to botch.
Just when it looked like Goldberg was in his zone, MVP hit his cane right behind the Hall of Famer’s knee, and he suffered severe pain that resulted in the referee giving the decision in favor of the All-Mighty.

After the match got over, MVP & Bobby Lashley assaulted Goldberg’s injured knee with a series of chair strikes.- This led to the Hall of Famer’s 15-year-old son Gage jumping on Lashley’s back only to get slammed to the mat. The segment ended with Lashley applying The Hurt Lock to Gage, and a helpless Goldberg could do nothing.
WWE Crown Jewel 2021: After Summerslam, WWE announced that the Hall of Famer suffered ligament damage and would require a surgery on his injured knee. Further in the interview,
“Well, I got ligament damage, and I have an impending knee surgery,” Goldberg said in late August. “Does that answer your question? I really don’t care. But what I do care about is that dirty son of a b—h Bobby Lashley, and what he did to my son at SummerSlam.
“I just left the house, Gage’s shoulder is all jacked up his neck hurts. God knows what a dude that size could’ve done to my son. So, the objective has changed. I’m not coming for the WWE Championship, I’m coming for Bobby Lashley’s soul, and I will rip it straight from his chest.”

At WWE Crown Jewel 2021, Goldberg will do anything and everything in his powers to decimate the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley and shove him off for good.
