WWE News: Latest update on The Rock’s Survivor Series status- “The People’s Champ” The Rock was rumored to appear at the WWE Survivor Series PPV this year, but as per latest listenings, he may not be appearing live at Survivor Series, but the company is still planning to celebrate his 25th Anniversary.
Earlier, it was reported that WWE is eager to celebrate The Great One’s 25th Anniversary in the company at the Survivor Series PPV, and the former World Champ would appear at the event. The Rock made his WWE debut at Survivor Series PPV 25 years ago in 1996, held at Madison Square Garden in New York.

WWE News: The Rock’s busy schedule might hamper his chances to appear at the PPV
WWE was hoping to have The People’s Champ onboard this year at the PPV to celebrate his 25th Anniversary, but now it seems like The Rock’s busy schedule will hamper his chances of appearing at the PPV event.
As per the latest update on The Rock’s staus, NBC is scheduled to begin the filming of “Young Rock” Season 2 in Australia this month. Later, Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Podcast noted that The People’s Champ would be busy filming the series at the time of the Survivor Series PPV.

WWE was also considering having The Great One at Survivor Series so that he could start a feud with his cousin Roman Reigns to set up a match between the two at Wrestlemania 38 in Dallas, April 2022.

A storyline between The Rock & Roman Reigns could only begin when the People’s Champ arrives. We know he would be missing this year’s Survivor Series, which means The Great One vs. Roman Reigns won’t happen at Wrestlemania 38.
