In the video, the entire CSK camp can be seen praising Ruturaj Gaikwad who has been in terrific form with the bat. The young CSK opener has amassed 603 runs in 15 innings at an impressive average of 46.38. How young Ruturaj Gaikwad sealed an opening slot in Chennai Super Kings? The 2020 season in UAE proved out to be the most forgetful year for the Yellow Army as they failed to make it to the playoffs for the first time in the history of the IPL. The three-time champions then tried different opening options in the 2020 edition before offering Ruturaj Gaikwad an opening slot at the place of Shane Watson, who later announced his retirement.
