On Saturday, Shikha clean bowled the Australian opener in the very first over of the innings in the ongoing 2nd T20I of the three-match series at the Carrara Oval. The delivery by Shikha Pandey moved in a mile off the seam. The Indian pacer beat Healy all ends up with both swing and seam movement and the ball clipped the top of the middle.

Ball of The Century – Shane Warne: The ball was originally compared to Shane Warne’s dismissal of England’s Mike Gatting in Ashes 1993 at Old Trafford in Manchester. The spinner produced a spectacular ball that bowled out Gatting. The ball was recognised of considerable significance in the context of the match and series. It signalled the revival of leg-spin bowling in cricket.
The ball, pitched outside leg, and took a wild curve to hit the off stump and left Gatting stunned. He didn’t see it coming and stood there for a while and even the umpire couldn’t believe what he witnessed.
“Gatting must have felt it perhaps hit the keeper and went back to the stumps. It was a perfectly pitched leg-spinner. I can understand Gatting disbelieving,” Late Cricket commentator Richie Benaud had said during his commentary.
