Twitch, an Amazon-owned streaming network, recently made headlines after its servers were hacked. A lot of sensitive material has been leaked online as a result of the recent twitch hack, including source code for the company’s streaming service, an unannounced Steam competitor from Amazon Game Studios, and details about creator compensation. The data files were leaked as a 125 GB torrent file, where anyone from anywhere can download and get the data. The Twitch leak appears to have revealed various sensitive information such as source codes of the official website, mobile application and console version too.

Part one of the Data Breach has been labeled, implying that there may be more to come. While personal information such as creator payments is included, it does not appear that passwords, addresses, or email accounts of Twitch users are included in this initial disclosure.
