WWE Smackdown: Possible spoiler on WWE’s plans for Sasha Banks- The Boss Sasha Banks was retained as a part of the Friday Night Smackdown roster on the second night of WWE Draft on October 4. Banks is one of those handful stars along with Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, who alternate between babyface and heel with utmost ease, and it seems like a babyface turn is looming over the Boss’ character. 

Banks is scheduled to face Bianca Belair & Becky Lynch at the WWE Crown Jewel event in a triple-threat match for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Her competitors in the triple-threat match were both on Smackdown before the WWE Draft, but now they have moved to Monday Night Raw.- This could mean Sasha Banks could become the Smackdown Women’s Champion again and bring the title back to the Blue brand.

WWE Smackdown: Sasha Banks Babyface turn

Sasha Banks’ babyface turn is something that is yet to get a green signal from WWE, but Dave Meltzer of WrestlingWorld.co has suggested that The Boss could be a babyface on Smackdown due to the scarcity of strong babyfaces in the Blue brand. According to Meltzer,

“The women’s side, there is no top women babyface on SmackDown, I am figuring that Sasha Banks becomes a babyface because the other two top women stars are Charlotte Flair, who absolutely shouldn’t be a babyface and Shayna Baszler who appears, based on how she’s being booked is not a babyface.”

WWE Smackdown: Could Sasha Banks bring the Smackdown Women’s title back to the Blue brand

Sasha Banks is the only legitimate Smackdown member in the triple-threat match at WWE Crown Jewel. Therefore, if WWE is looking to bring the blue brand’s women’s title back to where it belongs, Sasha should win the title.

However, there could be another option on which WWE could work upon. The company may swap the titles between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch so that the red brand gets the Raw Women’s title and the Blue brand gets the Smackdown Women’s title. It would be interesting to see what the company plans.
