The Ashes – Ben Stokes undergoes surgery: As per a Daily Mail report, Ben Stokes underwent initial surgery soon after breaking his finger while playing for the Rajasthan Royals. However, the all-rounder was dealing with a considerable amount of pain and went under the knife again, at the hands of Leeds surgeon Doug Campbell, who removed the screws from the finger and treated scar tissue that had been causing the pain.

There is no pressure on the all-rounder to make himself available, as the team management have allowed him to recover alone with his family.
