WWE News: Goldberg’s status for WWE shows in Saudi Arabia- WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg has got his much wanted bout against the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley at the WWE Crown Jewel event, scheduled on October 21.
This would be Goldberg’s 3rd consecutive appearance at the WWE Show in Saudi Arabia, making him one of the most active competitors to appear in Saudi Arabia. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio has noted that Goldberg has a special deal for Saudi Arabia WWE shows, and this deal is said to be lucrative.

Meltzer stated,“Obviously, the other match that is also going to be there is Lashley and Bill Goldberg because that one won’t be put on TV because Goldberg does have a specific deal with the Saudi shows that is very lucrative and if you were going to pull his match to put it on TV he wouldn’t be happy whatsoever. That’s millions of dollars of difference. It’s not like the other guys where it really doesn’t make a difference, they’re going to get paid the same as long as they’re on the show. He’s gotta be on the show.”
WWE News: Goldberg will be competing in his third match of the calendar year
The WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg’s contract, which lasts till 2023, allows him to compete in two matches per year. He has already competed at Royal Rumble and Summerslam PPV this year, and his bout against Bobby Lashley at WWE Crown Jewel would be his third of the calendar year.
This means the WWE Hall of Famer must have negotiated his current WWE contract which allows him to compete in more than two matches in a year. There is no news regarding the Hall of Famer’s current contract status in the company, but we will surely update you once we get to know.
