  • The jittery form of SuryaKumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan have raised concern over possible playing XI in the upcoming tournament.
  • Hardik Pandya is not bowling, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is yet to find form.
  • Jasprit Bumrah, Mohd Shami, KL Rahul, R Jadeja, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Virat Kohli are among the bright spots for IPL 2021.
  • The ongoing form of reserves- Shreyas Iyer, Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar has been staggering.
  • Meanwhile, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s performances have raised questions about his T20 World Cup snub.

Speaking to Insidesport, a BCCI source said that Shreyas Iyer could be added to the main squad owing to his impressive knocks since return.

“We have Shreyas Iyer as the backup, if there are any concerns, he could be added. But it’s too early to say anything. Ishan Kishan is an important player and so are Suryakumar and others. There is no point speculating,” said the BCCI source.
