Doha Asian TT championship LIVE – India in Asian TT LIVE: Preview, Schedule, Live stream – All you need to know – The 2021 Asian Table tennis championship will kick off in Doha, Qatar this week with India amongst the nations participating. India has two players seeded fifth and sixth in Sharath Kamal Achanta and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran as they look to bounce back after a disappointing show WTT Star Contender event. The tournament marks the first continental event since the Tokyo Olympics and kicks off on September 28.

Doha Asian TT championship LIVE – India in Asian TT LIVE: China has opted out of the 2021 Asian Table tennis championships, increasing India’s hopes of a podium finish at the event. China won all seven events the last time the Asian Table Tennis Championships was held in 2019, but will not travel to Doha as they focus on the 2021 National Games of China and the 2021 World Table Tennis Championships as well as travel and quarantine restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Doha Asian TT championship LIVE – India in Asian TT LIVE: Veteran Sharath Kamal will headline the men’s challenge and will be backed by Manav Thakkar, Sathiyan Gnanseakaran and Sanil Shetty among others. Sutirtha Mukherjee will lead the women’s contingent in Manika Batra’s absence, whose tussle against the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) continues. The Federation had made it mandatory for players participating in the 2021 Asian Table Tennis championships to attend a training camp in Sonepat, but Manika Batra gave it a miss. Meanwhile, the pair of Harmeet Desai/Manav Thakkar are seeded sixth in the men’s doubles and Manav Thakkar/Archana Kamath are seeded sixth in the mixed doubles.

  • Tuesday, September 28: 1st division – men’s team and women’s team
  • Wednesday, September 29: 1st division and champions division – men’s team and women’s team
  • Thursday, September 30: champions division – men’s team and women’s team; mixed doubles
  • Friday, October 1: champions division – men’s team; women’s singles, mixed doubles, men’s doubles
  • Saturday, October 2: men’s and women’s singles; men’s and women’s doubles; mixed doubles
  • Sunday, October 3: men’s and women’s singles; men’s and women’s doubles
  • Monday, October 4: women’s singles; men’s doubles; mixed doubles
  • Tuesday, October 5: men’s singles; women’s doubles

Doha Asian Table Tennis Championship LIVE: How to watch in India?

Doha Asian TT championship LIVE – India in Asian TT LIVE: The 2021 Asian Table Tennis Championships live streaming will be available on World Table Tennis’ official YouTube channel. The matches will be held in two sessions. The morning session will take place from 9:00 am to 12 noon. The action will then resume after a three-hour break and will then go until 9 pm.
