KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle all failed. Aiden Markram’s 27 was the highest as Jason Holder’s 3/19 and Rashid Khan’s 1/17 restricted PBKS to just 125.

On a slow Sharjah wicket, Punjab Kings struggled especially after KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal were off to a slow start and departed quickly after the powerplay. Then on, as it has been the case, Punjab kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Aiden Markram was the top scorer with 27.
