CSK vs MI in IPL 2021: Rayudu walked out to bat at No.4 after CSK were tottering at 2-1 in the second over. He injured himself off the third ball while facing Adam Milne. His early dismissal forced Suresh Raina to come early at the crease and he too lost his wicket cheaply.
Another blow for CSK, this time Rayudu back into the dug out after being hit on the arm. All the is happening without Bumrah even having a bowl!

Since Rayudu is a vital cog for CSK, the franchise will be hoping that he walks out to bat and recovers from the injury quite early.
Heading into the match, Faf du Plessis was drafted in the playing XI after recovering from a groin injury that he sustained during CPL 2021. However, he too disappointed with a duck. Meanwhile, Sam Curran missed the fixture as he was yet to complete his 6 days of quarantine.
CSK vs MI in IPL 2021: Rohit Sharma & Hardik Pandya not in playing XI- check real reasons
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against Mumbai Indians in their Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter at Dubai. Mumbai Indians were dealt twin blows going into the game as skipper Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Hardik Pandya missed out. Kieron Pollard came out to the toss for Mumbai as the stand-in skipper.
The clash between arch-rivals Chennai and Mumbai marks the resumption of the IPL 2021 in the UAE. Both sides currently find themselves in the Playoff positions. However, a win for Pollard’s men would put them four points ahead of the chasing pack.
