WWE Extreme Rules Prediction: Three possible endings to Roman Reigns vs. “Demon” Finn Balor Universal Championship match

It has been 2 years since we last saw the alter-ego of Finn Balor in action, but on September 26, he will be taking on Roman Reigns in a quest to become a 2-time Universal Champion. Here, we have come up with three possible endings for Demon Finn Balor vs. Roman Reigns. So, without any further ado, let us start.

WWE Extreme Rules Prediction: The Usos help Roman Reigns retain the title

The Usos have helped Roman Reigns walk out as the Universal Champion on multiple occasions. Something similar happened two weeks back when Finn Balor was supposed to challenge Roman Reigns for the title on Friday Night Smackdown. Even before Roman arrived at the ring, The Usos laid a 2-on-1 assault on Balor and made him vulnerable to face the champ.

After the assault, Balor was nowhere near 100% to compete, but he still competed and gave Roman Reigns a run for his money. Eventually, it was Reigns who walked off with the title leaving Balor reeling in pain. Be it initially, in the middle, or in the closing moments of the bout, expect The Usos to make their presence felt and help Roman retain the Universal Title.

WWE Extreme Rules Prediction: The match ends up in a count-out

Finn Balor as his alter-ego i.e., as Demon, has never lost a single bout on the main roster. If WWE wishes to protect and glorify the Demon gimmick, they won’t let Finn Balor lose to Roman Reigns. Therefore, some alternative plans could work for them like a no-result count-out.

Well, WWE is quite predictable nowadays and it is quite obvious that Balor is not the one to hold the title right now. The reason being Roman Reigns accepting Brock Lesnar’s challenge last week on Smackdown, and the two men will eventually have a showdown at some stage for the Universal Championship. Ending the match as a no-result (count-out) will mean Roman Reigns retaining his title and Finn Balor’s alter-ego remaining undefeated.

WWE Extreme Rules Prediction: Brock Lesnar creates chaos

Brock Lesnar is another man who could be the difference-maker in the result of this match. The Beast Incarnate appearing in the closing moments and assault both Balor and Roman with a heavy beatdown is another possible ending for this mega bout.

The Beast Incarnate is not new when it comes to creating a ruckus, and he could be the one to destroy both the competitors and stand tall at the end of the night. The beatdown will mean the match would end without any result and Roman Reigns retaining his title for a future showdown against Brock Lesnar at some stage.
