2. Bumrah fastest Indian pacer to 100 Test wickets
IND vs ENG 4th Test: India pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who took two wickets in the first innings of the fourth Test against England here at the Kennington Oval, London, has picked his 100th Test wicket by removing Ollie Pope in the 2nd innings. With this wicket, Bumrah also broke the record of former India speedster Kapil Dev, who claimed 100 wickets in just 25 Tests. Bumrah became the fastest India pacer to take 100 wickets. He achieved the feat in 23 Tests.
With Pope’s wicket, Bumrah broke former Indian skipper Kapil Dev’s record. Kapil Dev had taken 25 Tests to reach 100 wickets while Bumrah achieved the milestone in his 24th game. Former India bowler Irfan Pathan is next on the list, having reached 100 wickets in 28 matches while pacer Mohammad Shami occupies the fourth spot.

3. Rohit Sharma’s first Test hundred outside India
IND vs ENG 4th Test: Indian opening batsman Rohit Sharma has been in phenomenal form since his return to the Indian Test squad. On Saturday, he slammed his first century overseas to help India take an edge against hosts. He slammed a century off 205 balls with the help of 12 fours and a six that he used to bring his ton. He went on to score 127 runs off 256 deliveries. With that, he also shattered 5 records. In the match, Rohit Sharma shared a crucial partnership of 83 runs for the opening wicket with Rahul. He looked rock solid and he saw out the first hour along with KL Rahul (46) on Day 3 with both of them looking set for a big one. The right-handed batsman has so far slammed 2 fifties and a century in the ongoing Test series against England.
