IRE vs ZIM 5th T20: Zimbabwe will be looking to their tour of Ireland on a high when they clash for the 5th T20I at Bready, Derry on Saturday, September 4. With Ireland having already clinched the series, the game is essentially a dead rubber, but both teams will be looking at the game with importance and as potential practice ahead of the ODI leg of the tour.
Ireland will be pleased with their performances against Zimbabwe especially with the T20 World Cup on the horizon. After their loss in the opener, the hosts have done well to bounce back and clinch three successive wins to seal the series with a game in hand. Captain Andrew Balbirnie has not been shy to experiment with the team so far and given this marks Ireland’s final T20I before the T20 World Cup, expect some new faces to get a game.

It has been a downward spiral for Zimbabwe ever since they grabbed a brilliant win in the opener. Captain Craig Ervine has already hinted at changes in the post-match presentation and there is hope that it could spark a turnaround for the African nation. A win in the 5th T20I will serve well for the visitors, who have a long tour ahead of them as they will face Ireland in ODIs before they travel to Scotland for three T20Is.
