Foreign players in PKL auction: Abozar Mohajermighani
Iranian powerhouse Abozar Mighani is a fearless right corner defender ever on the lookout to capitalize on a mistake made by a raider. Starting his debut Pro Kabaddi campaign for Gujarat Fortunegiants in Season 5, Abozar contributed significantly towards the team making it into the finals. Abozar Mighani was the fifth most successful defender in his debut Pro Kabaddi campaign in Season 5. He was the most successful defender for Gujarat Fortunegiants in Season 5. Mighani was also a part of the 2018 Asian Games Gold medal-winning Iranian kabaddi team.
Foreign players in PKL auction: Meraj Sheykh
Honing both his raiding and defending skills, Iran’s Meraj Sheykh has become one of the finest all-rounders currently playing in Pro Kabaddi. Sheykh has led Iran in several international kabaddi events including the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup. Meraj Sheykh was the most successful all-rounder in Pro Kabaddi Season 5, scoring 104 points. He became the first foreign player to captain a Pro Kabaddi side when he was selected as the Telugu Titans captain for the second half of Season 2. In Season 5, Sheykh also completed 50 tackle points in the league.

Republic of Korea’s Jang Kun Lee has been one of the most successful overseas raiders in Pro Kabaddi. His unique raiding style, where he merges elements of martial arts with traditional kabaddi moves, make him lethal for defenders. He has also captained the Republic of Korea’s national kabaddi team in various international events. Jang Kun Lee holds the record for the most points by an overseas player in Pro Kabaddi. In Season 3, he was the fifth most successful raider of the league with 79 points from 15 games.
