IND vs ENG LIVE: India skipper Virat Kohli has once again failed to live up to expectations. His lean patch with the bat continues as he departed for just seven runs in the third Test at Headingley, Leeds. Anderson dismissed him for the second instance in the ongoing series as Kohli got caught out to Jos Buttler. On the final delivery of the 11th over, Kohli went for a checked cover-drive, but he only managed to get a thick outside edge and Buttler held on to a simple catch. The latest development means Virat Kohli is yet to a fifty in the last 9 Test innings and his century drought increases to 640 days and counting.

Earlier his childhood coach Rajat Kumar had predicted that a big hundred is about to come from his ward’s bat.
“I don’t feel there is any need to motivate him because he is extremely motivated. When I had spoken to him after the last match as well, he was quite excited and was happy that they had won and was not too worried about his runs. When he has such an attitude, a big hundred is about to come,” Rajkumar Sharma had told India News.
