Former Tamil Thalivas all-rounder Manjeet Chhilar is a defender with the highest points in the history of PKL while defending. Manjeet Chhillar was the first man to lead the league in tackle points in two separate seasons. Chhillar is one of only two players with over 200 raid points and tackle points in Pro Kabaddi. In the last few seasons, his performance has gone south but his tactical mind can still be very useful for many teams in PKL 8.
Surjeet Singh
Former Puneri Paltan captain Surjeet Singh is one of the most incisive Cover defenders, who is ever waiting for just a hint of a mistake from the raider to dash him off the mat. Surjeet Singh was the most successful Cover defender in Season 7 with 63 tackle points. Singh was also a part of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup-winning Indian team. Teams like Tamil who are looking for a captain and a strong defender can buy Surjeet Singh in PKL 2021 auction.

After starting his career as a pure Corner defender, former U Mumba player Sandeep Narwal worked on his raiding and became one of the most successful all-rounders in the league’s history. Sandeep Narwal scored 119 points in the inaugural season, making him the second most successful all-rounder of that campaign. He is one of three all-rounders to score over 500 points in the league.
