IND vs ENG: On week-long break, Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma drop by vegan restaurant in London – India skipper Virat Kohli is enjoying a week-long break after India’s historic Test victory over England at Lord’s. Ahead of a gruelling 3rd Test at Leeds, Kohli, along with his wife Anushka Sharma. Virushka, as they are fondly known, visited a vegan restaurant in London before the team departs for Leeds.
Virat Kohli has often credited his fitness transformation to turning vegetarian. He has also managed to turn Anushka Sharma turn a vegetarian as the couple now believe it helps them stay fit and get rid of unnecessary fat.

IND vs ENG: Named Tendril Kitchen, the restaurant is run by a British Indian named Rishim Sachdev. With both Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma fond of vegan food, the couple reached Sachdev’s restaurant while in London. The fact that Tendril Kitchen was the only vegan restaurant available in that area narrowed their search down.
Virat Kohli is with his wife and daughter Vamika on the long four-month tour. After gruelling days of cricket, these breaks help them put the thoughts of cricket behind for some time and relax. And that helps them in a long run.
IND vs ENG: With Ben Stokes taking a mental-health break from cricket, Virat Kohli had backed the England all-rounder and has advocated against packed schedule and breaks for cricketers.
“These breaks are very important, for me too. To refresh and come back. In any case, captaincy and shouldering a team’s responsibility can be stressful. To add to that, if you are confined in a bubble for a long time, things get even more difficult. These periodic breaks are very important,” Virat Kohli said ahead of the 1st Test against England.
