Carlos Brathwaite contributed 37 runs towards the end but could take Manchester Originals to victory.
Earlier, a captain’s knock from Sam Billings took Oval Invincibles to 145/8 in their allotted 20 overs. He slammed 49 runs off 30 balls while Tom Curran contributed with 29 runs off 18 deliveries towards the end of the innings. Fred Klaassen was the lead of the bowlers, he took 3 wickets while Tom Hartley and Steven Finn took a couple of wickets each.

The second and third finished teams will play an eliminator to secure a spot in the final.
Both teams are studded with plenty of big hitters that guarantee a full dose of entertainment along with the run-fest. Jason Roy, Sunil Narine, Tom Curran, and Sam Curran are a few T20 stars in the Oval Invincibles’ squad whereas Jos Buttler, Colin Munro, and Carlos Brathwaite are the power hitters in Manchester Originals’ rank.
