ZIM vs BAN: Bangladesh were dealt a major blow after Mushfiqur Rahim withdrew from the ongoing tour of Zimbabwe. The wicketkeeper will travel to Dhaka and cited “family reasons” for his decision to return home. Rahim had played the one-off test last week but missed most of the action after being hit on his hand while batting.
ZIM vs BAN: As per Cricbuzz, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) revealed that Mushfiqur Rahim will miss the white-ball tour of Zimbabwe as he returns home for family reasons. The wicketkeeper had initially opted out of the T20Is and BCB had granted him leave, but with quarantine regulations, Rahim decided to stay put.

ZIM vs BAN: The BCB and Cricket Australia had agreed that cricketers will have to quarantine for 10 days before entering the bio-bubble in Dhaka ahead of their series. Rahim along with one another player stayed back in Harare to be part of the bio-bubble in Harare, which was being considered as part of the ten-day quarantine. Now with Rahim, travelling back, his participation in the series against Australia remains in doubt. The Australia tour of Bangladesh itself is in doubt with the rise of coronavirus cases, forcing the country into a nationwide lockdown.
