EURO 2020 – Moscow Leg EURO CUP: Bad news, Moscow shuts fan zones amid covid-19 spike – Moscow has decided to close their Euro soccer zones keeping in view of the surge in Covid-19 daily cases, mayor Sergei Sobyanin has confirmed.

EURO 2020 – Moscow Leg EURO CUP: The Russian capital has agreed to extend its Covid-19 restrictions until 29th June and a number of measures will be in place.
Public event with more than 1000 people will be barred while cafes and restaurants will be closed at night. In a precautionary measure, the designated fan zones for the European Championship will also be shut.
EURO 2020 – Moscow Leg EURO CUP:Sobyanin said, ” We are stopping mass entertainment events for a while, and we must also close the dance halls and the fan-zone for a while,” quoted The Times of India.
He went on to add, “Starting today, we will limit mass events to a maximum of 1000 people. I didn’t want to do this, but we have to.”

EURO 2020 – Moscow Leg EURO CUP:Russia’s Krestovsky Stadium is scheduled to host their national football team for the three Group B matches. The stadium which is situated in Saint Petersburg which also happens to be Russia’s second worst covid hotspot is also in the line to stage three Group E matches as well as a quarterfinal for this major event in upcoming days.
