CSK thrash SRH by 7 wickets to register their 5th consecutive victory in IPL 2021, goes on top of IPL points table: CSK openers Faf Du Plessis & Ruturaj Gaikwad registered century partnership as they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets to register their 5th consecutive victory in IPL 2021. Gaikwad & Du Plessis added 129 runs for the opening wicket which helped them easily chase 172 runs target set by David Warner’s SRH.

It was their 3rd consecutive 50+ partnership and 2nd 100+ partnership. Du Plessis & Gaikwad also completed their 50’s before Ruturaj was dismissed for 75 (44) & Du Plessis for 56 (37).

CSK thrashes SRH by 7 wickets: Earlier Sunrisers Hyderabad aided by some late flourish from Kane Williams 26* (10) finished at 171 for 3 in their 20 overs.

Captain David Warner & Manish Pandey scored half centuries and added 106 runs for the 2nd wicket for SRH. Warner was dismissed for 57, while Pandey scored 61.

CSK thrashes SRH by 7 wickets – CSK got 1st success early as Sam Curran dismissed dangerous Jonny Bairstow for just 7. Post that Warner & Pandey added 106 runs of 83 balls for 2nd wicket.

Pandey completed his 20th IPL 50 before being dismised for 61. Warner completed his 50th IPL 50 and also 10000 runs in T20 cricket

SRH after winning the toss decided to bat 1st.
