Ind vs Eng 2nd T20: Virat Kohli becomes the first batsman to breach the 3000 T20I runs mark
Virat Kohli is now the world’s leading run-scorer in T20Is with 3001 runs in 81 innings. After his match-winning knock of 73* (49) against England in the 2nd T20I, he became the first-ever batsman to cross the 3000 runs figure in T20I cricket.

Ind vs Eng T20 – Virat Kohli 1st batsman to score 3000 Runs
With India playing the five-match series to test the possible combination for the ICC T20I World Cup in October, Kohli is expected to reach the milestone in the first two games. The stylish batsman has already scored 9,500 runs in the T20s and he could become a member of the 10,000-run club in the IPL 2021 that will begin on April 9.

IND vs ENG: India’s vice-captain in the limited-overs, Rohit Sharma, could also reach the 3,000-run milestone in the series if he scores 227 runs in the series. With 2,773 runs in 100 innings, he is India’s second-leading run-scorer in T20Is. New Zealand’s Martin Guptill is the world’s second-leading run-scorer in T20Is behind Kohli with 2,839 runs.

IND vs ENG: India ranked 3rd in the ICC World T20 rankings with 268 points, have a chance to go top of the table. England with 275 points are the No 1 team in the T20I rankings but if India manage to win the five-match series by 4-1 against England, the hosts would topple the visitors to reclaim the No 1 position. Australia with 272 points are second in the rankings but with their series loss to New Zealand, they would not be able to go top of the table.
