Aus vs NZ 1st T20 – New Zealand Releases Retro Jersey: New Zealand Cricket has released a brand-new jersey ahead of the T20I series against Australia. Kane Williamson and his team will don its retro peach coloured jersey from the 90s. The much hyped series will be broadcasted and Live Streamed in India on FanCode.

The Aussies will be heading into the series after a full-fledged ODI, T20I and Test series against India. On the other hand, New Zealand will eye another win after their victories over Pakistan and West Indies in their backyard.
New Zealand are placed fifth as compared to Australia (second) in the ICC T20I rankings. The hosts will eye a series win to improve their place in the rankings table.
The first of the five-match T20I series will take place at Hagley Oval, Christchurch, starting February 22 (Monday). The remaining T20Is will be played in Dunedin, Wellington, Auckland and Mount Maunganui.

New Zealand set to play ICC Test Championship Final
Meanwhile, New Zealand have already qualified for the ICC Test Championship final slated to be played at Lord’s later this year. They will either meet India, Australia or England in the final showdown. The opponent will be decided based on the ongoing four-match Test series between India and England.
NOC granted for IPL 2021
Also, New Zealand players will be available for the entire edition of IPL 2021. The NZC has granted the No Objection Certificates to its players.
“Yes, the NOCs would be given and the cricketers would be available for the entire edition,” Richard Boock, a New Zealand Cricket spokesperson told the media.
Kyle Jamieson was the highest-ever sold New Zealand cricketer in the IPL 2021 auctions. He was sold for a record Rs 15 crore to the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Jamieson’s base price was Rs 75 lakhs.
