Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday, posted one of the lowest totals of IPL this season. Trent Boult dealt telling opening blows while Jasprit Bumrah broke the backbone of the middle-order with some brilliant seam bowling as Mumbai Indians choked DC to 110 for 9 in an Indian Premier League match on Saturday.
Boult (3/21 in 4 overs) and Bumrah (3/17 in 4 overs) not only accounted for six of the nine wickets but also bowled 31 of the 62 dot balls consumed by DC batsmen.
However, this is not the lowest total of the season. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) had scored the lowest total of the season against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). They scored a paltry total of 84 runs.
Virat Kohli’s Bangalore are second in the list. They scored a meagre 109 runs against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

What Delhi Capitals need to do to qualify for the IPL 2020 playoff?
Capitals can ill-afford another meltdown like the one they had against Sunrisers: if they lose their last two games, it is entirely possible that Kings XI will go past them on NRR even if they finish on 14 points. In that scenario, Capitals could find themselves eliminated if other teams on 14 finish on a higher NRR.
