IPL 2025 Updates: Thursday was an eventful day for the IPL 2025 fans. The BCCI introduced a host of changes in the tournament. Firstly, the ban on using saliva for shining the ball was removed; then the teams could get a second new ball in the 11th over of the second innings, if the condition is affected by dew.
Apart from that, the BCCI also mandated, that there would be no bans on skippers for maintaining slow over-rates. Lastly, the umpires would be helped by technology again, as HawkEye would make wide calls for them.
