CCL 2025: The Chennai Rhinos registered their first win of the tournament after defeating the Telugu Warriors in Hyderabad in the ongoing Celebrity Cricket League 2025. The Chennai Rhinos won the toss and opted to bat first against Akhil Akkineni led Telugu Warriors. In the first innings, the Rhinos managed to take a lead of 20 runs before giving a target of 115 runs to the home side. Despite some blitz from Akkineni, the target was too much for the Warriors who bowed down to the disciplined bowling of the Chennai Rhinos.

On the other hand, the Telugu Warriors lost their tournament opener. However, they made an epic comeback in their second match by registering a win by 7 runs against the Bhojpuri Dabanggs in the CCL 11 match.
