Just a proud moment for all Indian men’s ice hockey fans, as Team India finally achieved success in the game at the ongoing Asian Winter Games. They secured a win over Macau in a thrilling group-stage match held in Harbin, China.
In the previous games, things didn’t end well for Team India. They suffered a crushing defeat against Hong Kong, who completely dominated them with a 0-30 margin. However, the team gradually learned to counter the opposition’s attacks and managed to score their first-ever goal against a strong Turkmenistan side. Now, with a thumping win over Macau, India is showing brilliant progress and getting on the right track.

What went right for the Indian ice hockey team was that they quickly rectified the mistakes they made against Hong Kong. They strengthened their defence and launched a solid attack, scoring three goals. However, Macau counterattacked with two quick goals, coming dangerously close. In the final stage, Indian ice hockey hero Tsering Angdus shone, scoring a crucial goal to seal the game for India. As a result, the team secured a clear 4-2 victory.
